Mitas Enduro

So i needed some new tires before riding for a few weeks in Utah, I have the Mitas enduro on the front of one bike and really liked the grip so i decided on a set. After about 1000 miles rear tire wear is already a concern. They both work great but it looks like not for a long time. Certainly doesn't hold up compared to the Tusk D sport

Most guys on these type of pages definitely go for the knobbies. Seems they last around 1K-3K miles. With my 90% or more rice rocket experience on motorcycles, I prefer the big block tread pattern (Continental TKC70, Shinko 705, .....) I have used since the 1970s.

Obviously the big block tread pattern isn't going to give as good of traction on mud, wet grass, ..... than knobbies. But, getting 6K+ miles on mostly pavement and isolated instances of near trials type riding while performing flawlessly is a huge incentive for many. The traction on pavement is almost unbelievable, I don't hold back, but I'm not a pavement racer either.

Steel belted radials tend to be relatively widely available for the big block tires too.

There are so many different Mitas tires is tough to keep track of their goofy names. I don’t know if this is the tire that you put on I just installed this have about 750 miles. I think it will be pretty well done at 1500, disappointed in the life.
Previously ran the E07 + ok traction offroad dry. I got 4800 miles which is ok but should be a bit better since it is more road biased. On the front I put the Mitas trail +. Excellent tire offroad in every condition. The first 800 miles its squirmy in the corners until the knobs where a bit. I have 5200 on it and its almost done. 1749521764150.png
