KTM 2020 390 ADV rack system

First thing, so glad to have this forum. Love looking at all the Facebook adventures and hope I’ll be posting some too!
I’ve been looking at rack systems for my 390. I don’t need a ton of storage, but like the idea of dry bags.. just don’t want anything gigantic looking. I do quite a bit of trails, and would like enough room for medical kit, rain gear, water.. some protein bars.. you get the idea.
I’d prefer not to have a tank bag. Definitely want to keep the weight down as well.
Ideas would be appreciated. Also, I’m not opposed to spending mid range money.. and if it’s the right one for me, I’ll splurge!

On my 390 i used the Givi racks and Tusk bags. Both very solid products. I had read on a KTM 390 forum people having problems with Tusk racks cracking so i went the other route. Definitely adds a little weight overall. i do love the fact the bags have waterproof liners, and you can pull out for taking in a hotel room for the night. They are rugged for sure

I have the Tusk Highland X2 rackless luggage system and I'm very impressed by the quality. I didn't even need racks, although it would make life much easier if you plan to take them off for hotel stays, etc. I like that it's modular and I can add the included dry bag (not pictured), and tent pole bag. It's not the largest system, but it's perfect for my needs. Hey make a larger system that I may get in the future.
