Rode about 140 miles through some nice forest. Left Boise turns to dirt literally couple miles from town. Met a couple of guys where we all got turned around by a logging operation. They told of a road that’s was more challenging than the forest roads so had to try it. Turned out to be a great 4wd road. Downhill, sandy, rocky and steep. Next time I’m riding it uphill. Made a loop to Idaho City, Placerville and down the Boise ridge road past the ski resort and back to town. Beautiful mountains. First ride on a new carbon fiber helmet. Should have done that a long time ago.
